Welcome and thanks for your interest in GSUMC. We seek to follow Jesus in all that we do. Through our worship, our classes and small groups, our service projects and our very active youth program, we express our love for God and God's love for the world.

We are a vibrant and diverse congregation seeking to serve the community around us. We hope you will visit Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. It will be a joy to meet you.

We hope you will join us after the service in the fellowship hall for coffee and refreshments so we can become better acquainted.

English service is Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Nursery care and Sunday School 10:00am
(infant through 5th grade)
 
What to expect when you visit
We describe our worship as "Blended" with some traditional prayers, hymns and contemporary worship songs. A praise band leads our music each week. Communion is the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome to receive Communion at Good Shepherd.

Children stay in the first part of the service and leave for Sunday School after the Children's Message. We have nursery care of children under the age of 3 and Sunday School for 3 years through middle school.
Dress however you like. At Good Shepherd you'll see blue jeans and dress suits. Hey, this is Southern California, it's casual.

Harvest Festival event October 17
The preschool children will have a singing performance during the October 17th service. Following the service we will be having a Harvest Festival. This event is intended to show who is involved in the church. Each both will have an activity as well as information about them.

 

Youth Evening Service September 26

The service will be from 5 pm to 7:15 PM. A light meal will be served followed by worship. Directly after worship groups will be set up for discussion. Elementary- led by Michael Boyd, Jr High led by Marty and High School led by Darren, Young Adult led by Autumn and Adults led by Mary.
